Currently they are performing all instrumental shows but are seeking the right person to take over on vocals. The group's sound is openly and proudly Anglophilic, combining both elements of the blissout shoegazer scene and a slightly older vein of post-punk guitar experimentalism, making a rich combination between the two influences. Words like atmospheric, ethereal and dreampop are often used to describe their original guitar driven, psychedelic storm of sound that balances moody textures and shimmering melodies. https://www.facebook.com/darkheads http://www.deardarkhead.com/ http://soundcloud.com/deardarkhead To the wedding Layering elements of psych, shoegaze, and ambient over Boston's traditional garage-rock template. Creating something new while still retaining what I consider to be the essential characteristics of (i) sounding great on headphones when listening in the library and (ii) sounding even better when played loudly, on a stereo at a party or live in a bar. Making music, that is, for people who like to think but love to rock https://www.facebook.com/tothewedding http://tothewedding.bandcamp.com/ http://darushka4.wordpress.com/about/to-the-wedding **Discount Heroes Nestled in an artsy and gritty neighborhood in South Philadelphia, you can find a band of 5 guys practicing harmonies, booking shows for the community, and getting fans up and dancing at Connie's Ric Rac (In the world-famous 9th Street Italian Market) with their own blend of harmony laden, groove inspired rock and soul. http://www.facebook.com/thediscountheroes http://www.reverbnation.com/discountheroes The Tweeds Emerged out of the Main Line of Philadelphia's suburbs and the campus of Penn State University. Coming together after line-up changes and band mergers The Tweeds create a sound akin to such greats as Ghosts and Vodka, My Bloody Valentine and The Beatles: dancey gaze-pop to Psychedelic Drone rock with soaring vocal harmonies that will hypnotize the ear of the musician and everyday music fan alike. The Tweeds recorded and released their first full length album Goliath in April 2011 and were named the Philadelphia and National Artist of the month for The Deli Magazine in May 2011. With the current Deli and indie blogosphere buzz, the band is making strides to establish themselves along the east coast with upcoming tour plans and more recording projects. In fact, they are currently working on their sophomore album with Kyle "Slick" Johnson (Wavves - King of the Beach) at Fancy Time Studios in Philly. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Tweeds/59284097734
